The Tank

hi there, I keep Tropical Marine Fish in a 5f*2f*2f tank.I have had this marine tank for the past 5 years,but i started with cold water fish when i was about 7 years old. I have moved up to what i have now over several tanks,going through tropical fish on the way.

The Setup

The setup that i use for filtering is a sump filter of about 5 galans and a power filter to run a reverse-flow biological fitration system,which passes through a uv (Ultraviolet Sterilizer) of 25 watts.The water is kept at 25c(76f)with a s.g of 1.024. to keep this temperature i use two 200 watts heater controled by a algarde maxi-thermostat.the lighting is by four,fourtyeight inches long fluorescent lights one is an actinic light the orther three are tritons lights the lights are controled by timers,they are on for fourteen hours
